Phoenix Technologies is a co-founder of the UEFI Forum and continues to contribute to the organization’s success. In that spirit, Phoenix is expanding its role and strengthening its collaboration with the UEFI Test Work Group (UTWG) to test and validate the FWTS (Firmware Test Suite) and UEFI SCT (Self-Certification Test) tools. Leveraging a broad matrix of Intel and AMD platforms, Phoenix is ensuring these critical tools remain up to date with the latest UEFI and ACPI specifications. By providing comprehensive validation across diverse hardware configurations, and contributing to ongoing development and validation efforts, Phoenix is helping to enhance firmware compliance, improve interoperability, and support the industry with high-quality testing frameworks.

UTWG is a working group within the UEFI Forum that is focused on developing and maintaining testing frameworks to ensure the reliability, security, and compliance of UEFI firmware implementations. The group collaborates on creating standardized test suites and validation tools that help firmware vendors and hardware manufacturers verify interoperability and adherence to UEFI specifications. By fostering best practices and improving test methodologies, the UTWG plays a crucial role in enhancing firmware quality and ecosystem stability.
